"Throw-back" uniforms for one game? Increase NCC Membership.

There has been some talk about a uniform change. I like the current uniforms, so let's not change them just to make a change. How about "throw-back" uniforms for one game next year. The Athletic Department could pre-sell the game worn uniforms to NEW National Cyclone Club (NCC) Members. It might take at least a Cardinal Level Membership ($1,000) to be able buy one. Have a drawing for a few of the uniforms for new Century Club ($100) members. Several schools have done this with amazing success. OU did for their first game two years ago and Iowa might have done this recently.

Increasing NCC membership is a huge initiative for Pollard. NCC Membership is really pathetic when you look at what JP is the trying to do. The new ISU Football program is going to need $$$. I really liked the idea about going with a Gold Helmet, Gold Pants, Cardinal Jersey with Black Shoes. How about Big 'I' with 'State" across the middle horizontally. Any ideas on how this could be done to increase NCC membership and get new contributions?

If fans really like the "throw-back" uniforms...make a change.

I am already a member, but have been wanting to get a more authentic looking jersey than the ones you buy at the stores. Nothing comes close!

The Nike Jerseys are pretty descent. THey are fairly close to the game jerseys.

I'll send it to Pollard and the National Cyclone Club. Currently researching how other schools used this concept. What to do to make it successful. What could have been done to make it more successful? I think this would be a great incentive to get new NCC membership... and there is a lot of room for the NCC to grow. I'll incorporate ideas from this board and what I find out from other schools in my proposal.

The red on red look has got to go!!! I'm open to anything else. Need to also get gold back in the color scheme somewhere.
The hiring of Chizik should go a long ways to increase the NCC memberships.

i would love to have a throw back jersey game, i think that would be cool for the men to do, if possible because we had a dif brand, but if the men wore the jerseys from the last year we won the big 8 that would be sweet

You know those jerseys you always see the parents and girlfriends wearing. They are not the real thing, but darn close. I woulnt mind getting something like that.

Throw backs would be fun. I got one now with #28 on it. It looks throwback, but isnt.

They tried to do the gold uniforms this fall vs. Nebraska. So I kind of expect something for '07.

Gold or throwback for a game would be awesome!

I must be the only one not tired of the red-on-red. I guess it's all I've ever known, but still, it's better than looking like a Nebraska or USC knock-off. Keep the red-on-red!
