We have a lot of young guys on this team - Do we expect we will win at Iowa? I've seen weight by weight breakdowns (all by Cyclone fans) which suggest not only does ISU win, it might win by a comfortable margin with some bonus points.
“We’ve got a pretty good football conference, and we’ve got a pretty good conference overall. We’re still walking around with our heads held high and our chest out, about that.” Paul Rhoads
the predicament has their predictions up (they've been correct the past two years) and they have isu winning. it will probably come down to bonus points. should be a great dual nonetheless!

I think we win. Both squads have wrestled ASU, and ISU didn't allow a takedown against that squad. Granted, Iowa punished them 39-3, but it wasn't quite as impressive as ISU's performance.
It all depends on the matchups though, and I think they go in ISU's favor.
There really aren't any matchups for sunday that couldn't go either way - which is awesome, or unfortunate. not really sure which. You guys are right. most of our wrestlers match up really really well with iowa to make for close matches. if we don't bring anything but our A-game though, it's gonna be real rough keeping our heads above water. Pins and major decisions are gonna be hard to come by. zabriskie at hwt has got a monster on his hands for sunday in matt fields. Him keeping it close with fields could be really really important. For some of our guys, if they don't win their matches, keeping out of pins and not losing by major decisions might be just as important as winning or losing.
You guys seen the picture of cael and the staff on the posters/programs? Talk about a scene right out of The Godfather. Four guys lookin' like they wanna take you into the back of a downtown Italian restaurant and make you pay for what you did to their cousin Vinny.....
The best approach will be the fact that each team improves weekly. IU has some preety seasoned wrestlers at the college level while ISU has a few seasoned with many youngsters. A huge match will be Perry and ISU's Paulson, plus a few others. Cael will have the men ready.
