I started this season absolutely HATING "Sweet Caroline".
I ended the season absolutely HATING "Sweet Caroline", except for when they start playing it 30 seconds before the visiting team runs down the ramp after halftime. Then I think there is no sweeter song on earth. It's just PERFECT timing. They're trying to get themselves psyched up to come out and beat us, but they charge out in a show of macho-ness to "TOUCHING YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, SWEEEEET CAROLINE, BUM BUM BUM". I laughed so hard at the confused look on the linemen's faces during the Mizzou game. I hope they play that song at that moment (and that moment ONLY) at every home game next year.
True and Valiant
I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

Victory before honor.
I'm 41 and rememeber when sweet caroline WAS popular. Let's get some good tunes rocking the house down. I flew in from New Orleans for the NE game...I didn't like that tune and still don't like the FIRST DOWN chant. But I did like the helmet and smoke schtick, nice.
