I do quite a bit of traveling around Iowa and I often listened to Deace in the afternoon while driving. I live in Oskaloosa and have no trouble picking it up there. I often drive to cedar falls and the quad cities from Oskaloosa as well and rarely have trouble picking up the signal until after Iowa City unless it is after dark.


Just saying, the little station does have a bit more reach then Des Moines. Or I have a super antenna on my car [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]

It must be the latter because no matter how close to DSM i get, i cant get KXNO. And i know for a fact my antenna is working fine. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif[/img]

A few weeks ago on my way to Iowa City I got KXNO all the way to Williamsburg, and my antenna is not very AM friendly.

Back when I was in school in Ames last year, I took a few road trips back home to CR from Ames and listened to the away games driving on my way back. I typically could get the KXNO signal to the city limits of CR although it was constantly degrading the farther I got from Ames.



Kinda funny how some places you can get the signal +150 miles away and other places you can barely get it in the outer limits of Des Moines. I smell another Hawkeye conspiracy [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img] [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

I am listening to the show for the first time online. I actually caught the Jon Miller show and i seemed to like it. I already dont like the M&M show. I couldnt care less about baseball, i dont care that they talk about it, but they went straight from baseball to hockey. I care much more about baseball than hockey. and marty just annoys me. I&#39;ll probably keep listening to Jon Miller&#39;s show but so far, i think that M&M are out the window.

Okay, I tried to listen. After 10 minutes of their stupidity, interuptions and yelling, I switched over to Deace. M&M, no wonder they never stay on one station very long. This is just horrible radio. Between these blowhards, Cotlar and Rome, this station just plain sucks. Hopefully, we can get these jokers off the air.

These guys are very uninteresting to listen too. I have not sounded off about the change mainly cause I had not heard them at all before, but after 2 days, I would say KXNO downgraded big time. The Jon Miller show is much better then I expected, and I have alot of respect for Jon Miller.



But for Marty and Miller to talk baseball for dan near 45 minutes yesterday was just boring. Not only that, but I would have to say that either of them no CRAP about baseball, cause half of what they said did not make any bit of sense. But they did save themselves when they went from Baseball right to Hockey, NOT&#33; I didnt listen much to the show after 5PM, but with only 1.5 houes left in their show they had not mentioned anything about Clones/Hawks, or the NBA playoffs that were that night. I mean first of all you have a show that is going to be cut by 30 mins for the ICubs game, so with a 2.5 hours long show, you spend at least an hour talking about baseball/hockey? If you want people to listen to your show, talk about stuff that interests the listeners, not puts them to sleep&#33;
