I LIKE mike taylor. For real. That being said, he left in with 14:40 to go in the first half with foul trouble, when we were exchanging leads with sav st. In the 14 minutes he sat out, we pulled out to a nice lead, and held it through the half, and only have 4 turnovers for the half. in that 14 minutes, i don't think that either of our guards were driven on by a sav st player on their way to the hoop like taylor was. mcintosh and dodie just play quicker defense up against a man.

guys lookin good though - EVERYBODY establishing themselves inside. even dodie! haha. lets keep it up, and get out to a good lead to start the half

We only have 5 turnovers at the half - we've only forced 3 on SS but I'll still take that over what happened during the last game!
Wesely is quickly becoming my favorite.

Wes is a star for us in the making, add some meat to his bones and he is going to be tough in the future. I wish that he would shoot more than he does...seems as though he is less streaky than any other player we have.

probably the most important thing for us right now. Even rashon gets streaky - but mike, jiri, and cmac all go in spurts a good deal of the time. I think you hit it on the head

I'm sorry, maybe I'm reading this wrong, is the score really 51-50 against Savannah State at home? Wow, I believe we can be "streaky" but what gives, I thought we'd at least be able to be comfortably ahead with 6 minutes remaining....

this is a really bad team that we are coelescing to right now. I feel that we are still searching for the perfect 5 combo. No question, Bradley (even though they are not the team from last year), OSU up next....its gonna be really tough. As we all expected this year was gonna be rough. Chemistry between players can only get better.

I know i am typing this as if we lost, but I truly felt after watching SSU play before, we should beat them by at least 15 easy with just our raw talent and home court. Hopefully we can bring everything we got to columbus and leave everything on the court at the end of that game.
