Throws 4 interceptions today...blown out by the Patriots and no Sage Rosenfels. What gives?

Seems money is forcing Carr to be played. That's real nice to a team in need of a spark.

Sage provided that in a game vs. the Titans earlier in the year - leading them to a comeback that fell short.

Sage is out for the year after ( I believe breaking his thumb/hand/finger) about 2 weeks ago and Houston brought in Bradlee Van Pelt as a backup. Gary Kubiak was the OC for the Broncos and BVP was a member of the Broncos but did not make the roster this year....HITMAN

Rosenfels 28, has played well this season as the backup to David Carr, completing 27-of-39 passes for 265 yards, with three touchdown passes, one interception and a 103.0 passer rating. The Rosenfels injury was a freak occurrence, which came as he was holding for a Kris Brown 59-yard field-goal attempt.


The kick was short and Jets cornerback Justin Miller returned it, with Rosenfels making the tackle. On the tackle, however, he broke his thumb.

The Texans passed on Vince Young AND Reggie Bush. Why would anyone think they knew what they were doing.

It might say more about Carr's position with the coaching staff that he STAYED IN to get his butt whooped rather than have Val Pelt try to run for his life for a while.

Sage has his moments, he looked good for the Dolphins a couple times - seems to be the comeback kid when he gets under center. But so did AJ Feeley when he subbed for McNabb, but it didn't carry over to a starting role.

Lets hope when Sage gets a chance it goes a little smoother.
