I miss Shawn Taggart
I would love to see him find out what a real NBA center is like tonight. Something tells me Mr. Taggart would look like a school boy tonight.

Re: I miss Shawn Taggart
Taggart would be averaging 10 pts a game for us this year if he was here. With 1.7 rebounds a game as well. Thats how a man plays down low. Pfft. :p

Yeah it also kind of gives you a hankering for the glory days when Chris "Bobblehead" Alexander roamed the paint for the Clones up until he threw one too many roundhouses at Sips and got the boot. Stupid Indian Hills players.

Re: I miss Shawn Taggart
You know I thought about this the other week... All these players that left after Morgan was canned have to be wondering if it was really worth it. Even if 1 gaurd or 1 post player had stayed they'd probably be getting some big minutes right now and it would have made this team a little deeper on top of it. I could easily see Tasheed Carr as a starter on this team and Taggart would have been getting some good minutes based on lack of depth in the post alone. I don't know how he thinks going to Memphis will improve his chances but we'll see next year I guess. And Degand will have sat out 2 years before he ever plays his first college game so hope the wait was worth it for him too.

Stupid Indian Hills players. Alexander had a skyhook shot and that was about it. Might as well put concrete shoes on him when he played defense because I remember half the coaches on the bench yelling at him all the time to move around on defense.

Re: I miss Shawn Taggart
Where is Aaron Agnew when you need him???
He would be averaging at least 15 per game this year...Whoppers that is. -
Re: I miss Shawn Taggart
When I read the topic I thought "wtf"? But when I read the post I was LOL!

Re: I miss Shawn Taggart
I read that Agnew went something like 6 for 50 from the free throw line in JC for a smoke'in 12%. http://www.highland.cc.il.us/athleti...anoncampus.doc

Re: I miss Shawn Taggart
Do you guys really find it necessary and/or fun to rip and tear apart all these players that no longer play for our basketball team? Agnew, Taggart, Carr, etc. may not have panned out as planned or desired for us, but that's in the past and they have nothing to do with this year's team, so let it go already!
Travman, I will say I agree with you when thinking about playing time for Carr on this season's team. Frankly, I thought the kid had a pretty good freshmen year, but just didn't follow it up at all last season for whatever reason.

Maybe that makes me a terrible person but personally I don't think it does.
Maybe you should heed your own advice.

And then you comment on T. Carr... -

I'm not joking.

Tags would foul out in 8 minutes if he played Oden.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: I miss Shawn Taggart
Agnew looked like "Teddy" from the old Saturday Morning show on NBC called "Hangtime" also Wayne Morgan looks a lot like Carl Winslow from Family Matters
