That was obvious. I can't believe how well he defended Oden, plus kept up his hustle the whole game.

I say the whole team. Cory played very solid against Oden, Taylor was playing man in fire at certain stretches, Wesley is a freakin aminal, everyone else did their part, EXCEPT JIRI. He really just needs to never play.

Cory Johnson without a doubt. Huge heart, great effort. Good job overall by ISU. I think Wayne Morgan could win a national championship with the Ohio State team.

I say Mike Taylor, only because he handled the ball and made pretty good decisions throughout the game. He only forced it when he needed to. He also shot 9-13.

With all the recent love for Wesley, Cory is going to be a heck of a player as well. After the game against Bradley where he came in and shut down a red-hot Salley, he does the same thing against Ohio State and Oden. Aside from a few times where he was out of position, he made the Oden look like just another freshman. The guy busted his butt off, and unlike our other bigs, he actually worked to DENY the ball to Oden in the first place, instead of just standing there like a tree and being cut down once Oden got the ball.

I think if Cory develop some post moves offensively, he's going to be a special player.

Wesley, Cory and Dodie are a solid foundation to build on over the next few years. Add the recruits next year and with GMac's coaching, we will be real good in a couple years.

Let';s not forget that CJ was a Top 100 recruit before suffering a knee injury which dropped him to top 150 which is still impressive. I';m not really surprised by his success. You can clearly see the skills are there. He is our most dangerous inside threat as far as having a back to the basket. He is our best interior defender as well. He can hit the three and is a good passer. The only thing he is lacking in is experience which will obviously come. Both Johnsons are going to be studs by the time they graduate.

I went with Cory Johnson.... we need a tough kid out there and we need hustle. He played tough and under control.

I would never blame a single player for losing a game for us, but I think a couple of Jiri's decisions at the end of the game REALLY hurt our momentum and focus. The score was not representative of the game or effort.
