Baby Name

I was reading earlier this year that some twisted soul here in CR had named his twins "kinnick" & "carver"

Trice & Hilton would almost have to be girls - a boy named hilton would be askin for a butt-kickn. All the embarrasing rich slut conotations too ... just better to think up a real name.

You could name the kids Jack and James and Trice and Hilton for the middle names.

If you have a kid now and named him Hilton and he is getting made fun of in Junior High because of Paris Hilton. I swear if she is still getting attention in 12-15 years the world is in sad shape.

I had a kid at ISU bball camp on my team that was named Cy. I was high fiving him all over until the next day when he wore a Husker shirt to camp. After that he was buried on the end of the bench for the rest of the week (a step up from what I really wanted to do-have the rest of the team circle around him and push him til he cried)

I know a guy who is naming his kid Hayden.

This thought has crossed my mind as well. Hopefully Chizek will take care of business in the years to come and any idea of a stadium curse or whatever will be a distant memory. Though I have seen some things that would make you wonder... UConn in 02 and Missouri in 04 come to mind first.

Some friends of ours named their son Tinsley. And no, I am not making that up.

If I had twin girls, I would have to go with Amy and Angie.

I'm planning on Jackson for the first name, Trice for the middle name and "JT" for a nickname. He can use his middle name when he wants, but how often do people really use the middle name?

i actually had Freddie on the list until my wife, an Iowa alum (i know, i know) figured out what i was up to. but before i get crap for giving in - i told her she could stick 'Hayden' you know where. also think Seneca is just a kickin name.

another name note - i actually joined an American Idol pool at work where you pick who is gonna get kicked off each week. hard for me to believe i did it - but it was, after all, betting. and illegal officeplace betting at that (the best kind!). well, there was a girl named 'Kinik' on the list. voted her to get the boot every week until she went. just felt like the right thing to do. i wear bitter well.

I would actually name my kids that becuas they are at least real names, unlike Kinnick, Carver, Hilton or trice.

We named our twins Sam and Jack after Sam Hill, and Jack Trice... well not really but it sounds cool if I say that when they ask what they were named after.
