Former ISU footballer Ryan Sloth in the movies
This from the Ames Trib...
Kinda cool how he was able to have a role in the upcoming "We Are Marshall"
Has any other former football player ever been in a movie? I know Paul Shirley was in "Glory Road" a while back...

Breon Ansley was from CA and went back out there to be an actor, not sure if it ever happened for him.
Was there ever any word on if Streff got on the Real World or not?

Very cool to hear things are going well for him. I grew up in Belmond where he is from. I remember going to all the high school football games and watching him destroy people, and also coming and talking to our DARE class about being role models and not doing drugs haha.

Groce was also one of the Cowboys' WR in "Invincible" (with Mark Wahlberg).
Breon Ansley has been in a Mountain Dew commercial recently, specifically the one where he tries to take the can from the Zen Master (or whatever). The ad won an award, too. Read more. -

You know the boards are slow when this kind of subject comes up.
