The NBA approach to showcase LeBron, Wade, Shaq is not panning oput to well. The lack of focus on teams may be due to the demise of the Bulls, Knicks, Nets, and Celtics. Not as much fuun to tune in thse days when the link to your favorite team is not strong. Tried to watch the Pacers and Tiunsley - up one year playing, down the next, up for now. The NBA marketing is having problems,. Going the way of hockey. Football rules. Now with thursday NGFL Netwrok games and NBC sunday night football, football is bigger than ever although the rams failed to sell out their last game.
After Barry Bonds goes up in smoke with roids along with the other 100 baseball pkayers, football can play all year long with European football, arena, gal football, etc. The only thoing keeping up with the Joneses is the world golf tour. The landscape has changed. Thirty years ago it was the Hamms beer commericials for the Twins. Now they are the Twinkies.
