Any other Boise State fans out there?
Just wondering if there are any other Boise State fans out there. I used to live there and was a season ticket holder for years.

Personally, I've hated them since they went for Senecas knee. I despise the blue turf, and just about everything about them.

Why then do you post it on a "Cyclone" message board? Use a little common sense.
I was rooting a little bit for Boise State agains OU basically because it appeared to be David vs Goliath and they pulled it off.
Personally though, whoever made the hairbrained decision to go with electric blue turf on the field definitely made that decision under a drug induced haze because there is no rational reason for it otherwise.

I'm just a little disgusted by everyone cradling BSU's nuts for beating an Oklahoma team that already had two losses. It was a fantastic football game, but they had nothing to lose, tried some trickery, and got lucky.

the twins deserve a little love, did you watch the game?
Oklahoma was debatably a 1 loss team to everyone not in the Pacific NW.
They beat a big boy, give 'em a few days worth of recognition (or ball cup-age, whatever).

I lived in Idaho for 13 years. I think Pederson was the real deal behind Hawkins. It showed with his play calling and with their record this year. OU did them several favors during the game (fumble deep in the red zone), and pick 6, but you have to admire the heart of BSU especially after Zabranski's error late in the game. I am still down about our loss to them in the H bowl, and Boise was not good for our BB team either.

Yes I am a Boise State fan. I also lived there at one time and while I didn't have season tickets went to quite a few games and there play off games during Pokey era. Setting for that stadium with mountain back drop is amazing.
Not happy they beat my Cyclones a couple years ago and still am having Hampton nightmares, but I still root for the Broncos

Marketing genius! Whenever anybody mentions blue turf, you think of Boise State. Surprised nobody else has mimiced this. Imagine if Washington would install purple turf!

Re: Any other Boise State fans out there?
Tell them to play a full season in the big 12, SEC, or Pac 10 then we will see how undefeated they are. Week in and week out is way more impressive then beating one of the big dogs at the end of the year. Props for the win though. It was good for them and they did not quit.

Ive been a big BSU fan for several years. These guys really play football the right way and continue to have an excellent home atmosphere.

I love when people make this case, saying they don't play anyone. Its not like they can just wake up some morning and say, hey, lets play in the Big 12 today. They easily beat their schedule, with a couple close calls. The WAC was 3-1 this year in bowls, and Oregon State was killed by BSU. They don't play in the tough SEC or other BCS conference, but they didn't play all creampuffs on their schedule. They played a tougher nonconference than a ton of major conference schools.

Heck, look at our non-con schedule.
