Chizik lands juco running back
From the Rag: Originally Posted by Des Moines Register Jamicah Bass, a running back at El Camino College in Torrance, Calif., has accepted Iowa State football coach Gene Chizik’s scholarship offer, according to scout.com.

He has two seasons of eligibility remaining. They're starting to come in!

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

Re: Chizik lands juco running back
Good to know the Rag caught on to this news story.

Re: Chizik lands juco running back
The Rag still covers Cyclone football? Wow, that right there is big news.

Re: Chizik lands juco running back
They did not have Paul Clark's permission to print that! This thread should be deleted and all copies of todays register should be destroyed immediately! Freedom of speech must be stopped at all costs (well $10 a month anyways)!

Re: Chizik lands juco running back
Apparently he changed his mind today?
Jamicah Bass ready to sign with Iowa State, originally verballed with ISU before switching to OSU (Oregon State). From scout.

Re: Chizik lands juco running back
No, he actually made the decision a week or so ago.

Re: Chizik lands juco running back
No, scout.com has old info.
He committed to ISU a while back. Switched to OSU after D-Mac was let go.
Now he's back.

I think that is very old from when he committed to DMac and then later changed his mind. He changed his mind again and recommitted to us. I still don't think we are able to talk about this though.
