at KXNO. He has been slamming the cyclones during his show fro the last 2 weeks. He could not find any wins on the cyclone schedule during the bIG 12 SEASON. He is already tired of talking cyclone bball. He is reverting back to his old way. We have to keep hammering him. Go clones!

As a former sports journalism student in college, I can tell you that the best thing to do is nothing at all...Guys like Tirrell live by the "any publicity is good publicity" standard...one just wonders how a person like him gets into the position he's in and gets his own show...kind of like Stephen A. Smith on ESPN I guess.

Marty has never figured out that there are an abundance of cyclone alums and fans in Central Iowa, he still buys the old line that this is totally squawkville! Which is riduculous.

I can't believe how thin skinned people are. Big deal, he said ISU was going to struggle this year. That is no revelation. Marty and Ken both said next year will be ISU's breakout year. Don't be a bunch of whiners, it reflects poorly on the school.

I am not complaining about Marty's opinions to ISU, he can surely have those. His act is tired. He has no in depth information, he gets everything from Google and he seems to never watch games but just watches highlights.
Example: I heard on KXnO for a couple of days the Alamo Bowl was sold out. Marty comes on one day and says that ticket sales are "abysmal" for the Alamo Bowl. He can go online and get tickets anywhere he wants at that game. Cory and Ken corrected him.
I have said it before and I will say it again, Miller would be much better on his own.

I think Marty has bashed Iowa BBall more than anyone and has said a lot of good about UNI and Drake while leaving ISU alone for the most part. He was talking about how Iowa would go 0-3 to the 3 in-state schools and it would be ugly almost every day there for awhile. He still mentions from time to time how poor the attendance is and how it doesn't look good for Alford.

I'm not a fan of Marty either but I think he's an equal opportunity hater and just likes stirring the pot with anything he can.

Haven't listened since Deace left except for 1 day when Chizik was announced. Don't waste your time on Marty. He will never change. And you are correct in saying that he believes that Iowa is only about the Hawks.

marty seems to want to cause controversy, regardless of team as ticked off listeners call in. he does it to every team not just isu.
