Iowa State volleyball coach Christy Johnson has agreed to a contract extension that will run through the 2011-12 season, according to a press release issued by the school today.

Johnson, who this past season led the Cyclones to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1995, received a raise to $100,000. Assistant coaches Joe Lynch and Dawn Sullivan also were awarded raises.

The Cyclones compiled a 37-26 record in Johnson's first wo years, including a 23-17 Big 12 Conference mark. Iowa State held a 13-167 record against conference teams before her arrival.
