You're right they would do the same thing. They are the ones who requested it off, according to Drudge Report.

Not that I don't agree they need a little time off, both Dems & Reps. Yes, I do think they need to work in DC more than 2 days a week, but as representatives of our state, they should also spend a little time in the states they represent so they can figure out what we want. Like not having to listen to the idiot when we want to watch a game.
