Re: 2-0
Question: Can this year's team right now beat last year's team at it's best?
I think so. That's saying something with how new this team is... I don't think we are any worse off then last year, and yet we now have got ourselves a good looking future.
Good time to be a clone!

Re: 2-0
i think stinson and taylor are almost identical players and i think taylor is about as good right now as stinson ever was

Re: 2-0
I would assume you would have last years coach vs this years coach. Here is a curious question, what if Mcdermott had players like Blalock, Taggert, Stinson, Homan and Clark. What kind of team would that be?

Re: 2-0
I know that this team is 100 times more fun to watch then last years that is certain. And Hubalek is playing like he is possessed. What is this, the 3rd game in a row where he has the double double. I am totally excited about where this team is going, both this year and the years to follow.

Re: 2-0
Any wanna take a guess at how many turnovers ISU would have, if Stinson and Taylor were the 2 starting guards... Taylor and Stinson is a very good comparison, both have similar games, except with their shot selection. Stinson was the slasher and finisher around the hoop, and Taylor has the shot. That would be a good debate...

Re: 2-0
Stinson and Taylor have very different styles and abilities. Stinson was a slasher type of player while Taylor doesn't have the moves Stinson displayed. Taylor is also much more prone to turn the ball over. However, Taylor has a lot softer touch, especially from downtown than Stinson ever had.

Re: 2-0
i didnt think we would do this well this early in conference play...i thought we would really climb late in the season...this is even better

Re: 2-0
Its great to have yet another win under our belt! It keeps our confidence up, and hopefully it will stay up. On the other hand, I hope our confidence doesnt get too far up... we dont wanna get clowned after we were flyin high on 2 straight wins. Great game clones!!

Re: 2-0
And you know how it gets even better. EIU gets beat by Illinois 74-70

Now Mac vs Mac with last year players versus this year players? You raise a tough question. I think Blalock and Stinson with Mac's coaching could have been phenomenal. Taggert (assuming he met his freshman potential)... I don't think any better then Wesley, probably not as good. Clark, better due to Blalock and Stinson. I think with Mac, last year's team is better. The Blalock / Stinson / Clark chemistry was great under Morgan... can't image how good it would be with proper direction and leadership under Greg. The wild card is just how much better could have those guys been? Taggert seemed like a bust, but under Greg he might have been very good.

Re: 2-0
Taylor played awsome tonight, but how about jiri ..i think he became a man before my eyes great job of steppin up!

Re: 2-0
With DMac taking us in the direction that he is, I don't even think about the poor Hawks and their pitiful coaching situation.
Another great win, Cyclones. The bookies are learning a lesson.
Clone to the Bone with the up and coming IOWA STATE. -
