I had almost forgot about him until listening to the Iowa game on the way home Wednesday night. Putting aside all "Benedict" Haluska comments and ill will we have for him, how much better would we be right now. Having the leading scorer in the Big 10 couldn;t hurt.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, this team is 1 scorer away from being VERY Good. Might we be undefeated with Kansas coming to town this Saturday? Heck we were in the O-State game until 5 minutes left.
Say what you want about the guy but he's a great basketball player.

Whats crazy is that I hardly even remember him playing for us. Personally I can't see him in an Iowa State uniform.

I'm the other way, I think he looks strange in a squawk uni. You gotta rememer he was quite the "super-freshman" for us. There was a lot of love for Adam - which I think is why there such a lack of it now.

Never thought of that. I was thinking Morgan was only around for 2 years, but it was 3 wasn't it.

I knew about it because I had been thinking about it a lot the previous two seasons. Stinson, Blalock, Clark, Haluska, and Homan wouldn't have been too shabby in the year we went to the tourney.

How about this for a thought -- if Haluska doesn't transfer, he would have been a senior last year. Would that have made us a good enough team to qualify for the NCAA and not get Morgan fired and therefore not have Mac be our coach. Probaby a streach?

Actually sounds like a pretty logical (but very scary) thought.

I was thinking about that too when I saw the top of the thread. With him we might of made the tourney morgans first year, and maybe even possibly last year. I doubt a coach that went to the tourney 3/3 years would of been fired

If that's how things would've gone if Adam stayed in Ames - we shouldn't hate him.

We should thank him for transferring - so we could have G-Mac today.
