Rob Jeter

So far it looks like we were fortunate not to get Rob Jeter as our basketball coach. He may have been a one year wonder playing with a team he inherited from Pearl. This year U of Wisc Milw has a 5-13 record and they are 2-3 in conference play

Re: Rob Jeter

He'll be fine, he is a good coach. UW Milwaukee had a senior dominated team last year, now they are very young. I think that once he gets some recruiting classes under his belt, he'll have enough success to get job opportunities elsewhere.

Re: Rob Jeter

The situation that dmac inherited was much more unfavorable than the situation that Jeter is facing this year. But dmac has done a lot more with less.

I would say that the jury is still out on Jeter. He may end up being a great coach, but thus far he has only in the second year of being a head coach.

Re: Rob Jeter

The other guy considered along with DMac 12 years ago was Del Miller. He is an Iowa native who was an assistant coach at K State. He later got the head coaching job at Southwest Missouri. Then left after a few years with a so-so record. Don't know if he was forced out or just decided to leave.
