KU v ISU man to man matchups

This is an interesting problem, i think ISU has two potential matchups, and problems with both of them:

Matchup #1:

Cory McIntosh vs Russell Robinson
Mike Taylor vs Mario Chalmers
Wesley Johnson vs Brandon Rush
Jiri Hubalek vs. Julian Wright
Ross Marsden vs. Sasha Kaun

I think we're got problems with the Hubalek vs. Wright matchup.

Matchup #2:
----------------
Cory McIntosh vs Russell Robinson
Mike Taylor vs Mario Chalmers
Wesley Johnson vs Brandon Rush
Cory Johnson vs Julian Wright
Jiri Hubalek vs. Sasha Kaun

I think this matchup works better. We still have a matchup issue with Johnson vs. Wright, but i think Hubalek can outscore Kaun, whereas i don't think there's any chance that Ross will do that.

Bench-wise, if we leave Cory on the bench, we've got a better matchup when Darrell "Shady" Arthur comes in. If we start Cory Johnson, we don't have a good matchup player against Arthur.

What do other people think about the man vs. man matchup? I think our best option is #2, and hope that we can slow the game down enough to not need a lot of bench help playing against the KU bench forwards.

Wow, that will be something to see. So who will matchup on Brandon Rush? I guess that leaves Rahshon, that matchup concerns me. I was feeling good about Wesley vs. Rush, i think Wesley can stop him. But Rush hasn't been the goto guy this year like last year, it's really been Chalmers. I expect to see Dunson on Chalmers for at least 10 minutes of the game.
