The Cyclones won their 6th straight game earlier today in thrilling fashion. Down 5-4 late in the third, Shane Mytnik burried the puck to tie it up. The game went through overtime and ended up in a shootout.
Senior Trent Baker was lights out and three freshmen lit the lamp in the shootout, with the Cyclones winning 3-2 in the shootout for an official score of 6-5. Goals in the shootout were scored by Adam Mueller, Mytnik, and Pete Majkozak who notched his 4th straight game winning goal.
Next week, the Cyclones are on the road against #1 Illinois. This is quite possibly the greatest rivalry in the ACHA. You can listen to the broadcast live on
