Jeremy you say that we are in on a lot of big time recruits for the future and how G-Mac is doing a great job in recruiting. Well i'm just wondering if out of the names you have heard if you have heard anything about Junior Cadougan. Rivals has us as one of the schools he has interest in but in every article ive read he doesnt even mention us. I have read he is one of the top 5 sophmores to be which you could tell just by looking at the other schools on his lists (favorites are UNC and LSU) ahead of Duke and others! Do you know anything about this kid and if we are in on him? It is far away but when G-Mac got Brackins and if hes in on this guy you can tell recruiting will NEVER be a problem for this staff. I read about that kid too. With that list if we landed him that would put our name out nationally. If we landed him then i can see good things for this program in the future.
I have heard about him but not by the staff or any contacts. I think he is somebody to watch but I think from the sounds of it he is still pretty early in learning about ISU. I think right now the conversations would be pretty early in the kinds of things discussed and it would be some time before we could know anything else due to recruiting rules. A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
I don't think we have any shot at him. He was a Wayne guy, but I would be surprised if he is not at UNC. He talks about them all the time. I think Wayne got us involved because it was so early, but as he gets older during high school, more schools will continue to jump in the race, and it's hard to compete against Duke, UNC, LSU, and others.
Are you sure he is a Wayne guy??? he was never on ISU's database on rivals when WM was the coach, he just got up there during the time of our new staff!
There has been interest in him after the WM era ended. I honestly don't think we would have a chance with the kid from what I've heard but I do know that interest has been expressed in the kid.

Something is wrong with this Junior Guy.. First off he is a 2009 recruit which makes him a sophmore in High School.. If you see the picture the Kid (guy) has facial hair.. He looks 30 years old.. How is he a soph?

Hopefully McDermott can get him to commit soon. He would be a nice addition to our class.
