Re: Cyclones in the Super Bowl

I voted for the player - not the team. Being Ellis sees the most playing time, he got the vote.

I'd most like to see S.D. make it though.

Didn't Hobbs introduce himself with his high school instead of Iowa State in a MNF game earlier? Imagine how much that would suck if he did that at the Super Bowl?

Can we let this thing go? Why does that have to be viewed as a knock on ISU rather than Hobbs being proud of where he grew up and went to high school? It's not like he was the first or only player to do this.

Also, I recall Hobbs showing back up in Ames for an ISU football game.

    Hobbs is a good Cyclone.

We happen to have just become friends with someone that moved from Boston to DSM that knows Hobbs. Ellis sometimes talks about ISU - that's how our new friend new about the Cyclones.

Why do we not have a Cyclone playing in Chicago?? We need one, the Bears are down right now. :(

Hey now! Why would you not want the Bears to win? The Seahawks beat your Cowboys last week.

    P.S. It's now tied.

I will preface this and say I am not a packer fan.
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

Seattle has Seneca. 'Nuff said. Plus I'd love to see the Saints host the NFC title game.

Doesn't matter though as Gould just made one helluva kick for the Bears. Great game to watch.

I hate Seattle, I'll pull for Seneca, but not for Seattle as a team.
Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.
