good, we needed another LB

Looks like he was being recruiting by some decent schools too.
(If he's going to play MLB as a freshman, he'd better start adding another meal to his day)

LB is actually a position ISU seems fairly set at for the upcoming year but hopefully he'll have an impact in a year or two.

This is quite funny b/c as of 4 days ago this guys profile hadn't been updated since March 2006 on rivals. Fans on CR where complaining about us going after a guy that showed no other offers. Now that is has been updated you can see that he has some pretty decent offers. To me this is one of our more exciting recruits that we have had

4.5 is pretty good speed, he is only lacking on size, but some time with Shep and Becton should get that all squared away, it is good to see Chiz get Tiz, a high school commitment, we needed one of these, prolly won't jump right in and be a star, but with some weight and coaching might be a diamong in the rough, good to see, hopefully we will see some more pour in!

He doesn't have ideal size, but he's about the same size as Bowen was as a junior.

Well I think that he could more easily add weight than add speed so I would rather take the speed now and try to add more weight when he gets here.

I agree completely. I would rather have the speed. Weight can be added quite easily at college with a proper diet and lifting. Also agree with the above posting. Bowen wasn't much bigger. 215 isn't bad.

Not to jinx him, but isn't that Reggie Hayward's HS?

its good to see a high school player commit. I'm glad that he isn't trying to do it all with JUCO's this year.


if he bulks up he could be a quick middle line backer.
