Thank God JP did not go past the first interview with this guy. After listening to him for the last three days in the MN press, the guy can certainly pass the cool-aid for the thisty Gopher fans. He is telling them they win the Big 11 and go to a BCS bowl-- next year!!!
He has his "PhD in football", can "coach other coach's players and win", "wakes up recruiting", etc., ect. Just sounds really over the top.
This guy needs to take a page out of the Sweet Lou Holtz' book and read the chapter called "Downplay".
BTW- he's also saying he pulled out of the ISU interview process? True-- or more BrewsterBlue Cool-Aid?
Clone to the Bone with the up and coming IOWA STATE.

I don't think that just because he has an aggressive style that makes him a bad coach or means that he wouldn't have been successful at ISU. There is no right or wrong style. Hayden Fry was a lot like Brewster comes off and he did all right, while Chizik seems more quietly confident like Kirk Ferentz and he isn't doing too bad himself. I am very happy with our current coach but you can't confidently say for sure who is going to be better until there are some results on the field. Look at the Ferentz/Stoops situation with Iowa, it can take years to really know the kind of coach you have.
