The results are in! Who's gonna be Super?

Alright you football fans! The big one is finally on its way here! Who's it gonna be? I personally gotta with Mr. Manning!

I want the Colts because Peyton's a cool cat and it'd solidify him as one of the greatest ever, but the bad news Bears will probably find a way to pull another one outta their posteriors without much offense. It's amazing how a team with such little offense can be so offensive.

Arghhhh, my two favorite teams. I told my wife yesterday that I had to pick a fav of the two and stick with it so I have to go with the Colts. It will be an interesting game with two teams with noticeable weaknesses but with clear strengths as well. I think in the end, the Colts will be to much.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Colts - 32

Bears - 29

Hester will have a kick return touchdown ala Ted Ginn in the NC game, but the Colts and Manning will find a way to win.

Oh yeah, and Vinatieri makes a game-winning 45-yard field goal as time expires. He's in the Superbowl so isn't that a given?

Bears 28
Colts 27

Bears win by getting 1 Thomas Jones TD, 1 Hester return TD, 4 FGs and a safety. Thankfully Grossman only has 1 turnover while performing to his lackluster standard.

Go Bears!

If the Chi Bears play defence like they did against the Aints, "dabears" will win the super bowl in a close game.

I love both teams but I'm going to have to go with the Bears. I believe if they had played the patriots the bears would have lost. I think our defense can slow down Peyton just enough (a la Baltimore) and I believe the O will have better success with our run game than Indy's previous opponents. Hate to sound cliche but the key is Grossman. 2 turnovers on him= Colts "W".

Isn't Manning due for a MONSTER playoff game? Bears D finally crumbles: Colts 45 - Bears 24.

Yeah, the 15 -3 Bears don't have a chance. If you believe that BS, ask the last Peyton that faced them...

the saying goes "defense wins championships" and i do believe that its true. Most people would think this obviously points to Chicago, but Indy's run D is one of the best turnarounds, they were almost giving up 150 on the ground in the reg season and i think they gave up somewhere in the 50-60 range yesterday? I think some big plays with the Bears special teams or D will change the game, watch out for Devin Hester or Nathan Vasher. Bears win by 13

Re: The results are in! Who's gonna be Super?

I don't think anyone will have an easy time GUESSING the score of this game. Gotta love the parity in the NFL (Any Given Sunday)....but these two teams put the capital I in Inconsistant all year long. Neither looked like the same squad from month to month and both have some big-time strengths and holes to address. Anyway this is a Bears fan predicting a similar game to the AFC championship game a few days ago....and Manning gets it done in the 4th quarter. Colts 35, Bears 31

Oh, BTW anyone else chringing at the idea of two more weeks of commentators drooling over the very average play of Bob Sanders. I so wish our superman Hobbs was in there instead...
