Re: "Dogs" in the Super Bowl

Actually college football isn't big here, it is just big with me. The high school sports are cross country running, volleyball, wrestling, BASKETBALL, cross country skiing, and hockey.

Re: "Dogs" in the Super Bowl

This matchup flies in the face of everything I've thought all season. The Bears & Colts were the most noticably "flawed" teams of the playoff lineup.

My apologies to both fanbases.

I hate to admit it - but I turned off the Pats/Colts game at halftime to go out to dinner. I am still kicking myself for missing that.

I'll be a Bears fan next weekend, as my wife has a "manning/brady/brees-crush" making me suddenly a Grossman fan. Go Bears! (yikes, I actually typed that out loud)

I agree with Blandboy. The ads have got to be batter. Watching the NFL is about as exciting as watching grass grow.

Blasphemy!

The NFL is by FAR the most exciting sport to watch, and its not just my opinion, I saw a poll a couple weeks ago that showed the NFL as the most exciting professional sport by 40%.

Re: "Dogs" in the Super Bowl

Soccer wins hands down in polling for the worlds most exciting professional sport. I will admit that in the USA that football is watched more than any other sport, so somebody must find something worthwhile about the sport. I know that I am in the minority, but nevertheless, I can't find anything about the NFL to get excited about; its one big yawn.

The world can have soccer, the USA has created Football, Basketball, Baseball, and from what I read on yahoo yesterday Freestyle snowmobiling! - New to the X-games this year - I not a big X-gamer, but damn a backflip on a snowmobile is worth watching.
