I applaud joskvig trying to make a funny shirt that rips on Squawk fans. I just don't find the shirt that funny. How can you rip on someone for not going to a school but still being a fan? I agree with what you said ISUFan22. You can't say one fan is better than the other. If you insist that it's funny, then you, deep down inside, think you are a better fan than the other. I don't care either way if someone thinks they are a better fan than me, I know how big of a fan I am. I just wanted to point out that not everybody finds the shirt funny. Wear what you will, and I'll still cheer right beside you.

I am an alumn and I also think the shirt is stupid. If you asked JP, he would tell you that the person who is donating more money to the athletic program is the bigger fan in his mind. And last I checked your tuition payments went to the academic side of the university and your monthly payments are mostly for interest to the government. I am proud to have graduated from ISU, but I'm not about to say that I'm a better or bigger fan because of it. It only proves I have good taste!!!

And as crummy as this one felt, Cyclone fans, it could be a lot worse. You could be a Hawkeye. - Sean Keeler (imagine that, actually quoting Keeler!)

Its a bit amusing at first glance but agree that it really doesnt say anything good about our own fan base. I definitely know a lot of fans of UI that didnt go there and I myself was one, until I did indeed attend ISU. And given that I am not a terribly involved fan, there are no doubt a TON of people that didnt attend ISU but I would qualify as better fans. Overall, a fan is a fan, lets direct our verbal jabs squarely toward the east!
I will say one thing though - in reference to an earlier post - Wartburg stinks :)
