Contrary to what you may believe - not everything here has some correlation with our former head football coach.
I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, because the Mac threads were getting stale.
But if you want a serious response, then Bret is a three year starter at QB. He has most of the
ISU passing records, and has been the MVP of the Independence Bowl. The job is his to lose, I am just interested to see how he does when he is actually coached, and we actually run an offense that suits his strengths.
He has earned the right, that if he wins the job in pre-season, and gives us the best chance to win, to play all the games. That being said, I think that Bret is the type of player that if he is struggling, he could benefit from watching a series.
I don't know the answer, I guess that until the new staff shows that they are incompetent, I will trust their decisions.
