I doubt that Chizik will offer scholarships to any Iowa kids.

I agree with you 100% there. But this has nothing to do with him rooting for southern kids, he just has more recruiting base than we know.

In future years, I fully expect Chizik to wage recruiting war against UI and other midwest schools to sign the top Iowa recruits. Our success depends on it.

I still think he will be recruiting heavily out of state. I don't think this has anything to do with competing with EIU. In fact, I see us losing to Iowa but maybe pulling an upset over Texas. Chizik will put more emphasis on conference games and that's what I want out of a head football coach.
