I love it. Jamie has been preaching about growth, money, and how the finances are in our hands.

Now its our time to step up.

I would say that the amazing tailgating experience that we have at Iowa State along with getting to take in a college football game afterwards (or in between, whichever you prefer) is worth getting season tickets rather than single game tickets...at least for the fans that live close to Ames. We have a tailgating atmosphere like very few other places in the country, if we want to make it even better then it is time to pony up the cash.

I see why Jamie is trying to get people to buy season tickets so hard. He has to pay three new coaches salaries as well as pay Wayne Morgan and Dan McCarney somehow. I am just glad that we have an athletic director that realizes the philosophy that sometimes you have to spend money to make money, unlike Bruce Vandevelde whose philosophy was just keep cutting the budget. Now the fans have to step up and do their part. I hope that fans buy a lot of season tickets. I get kind of tired of fans coming to the Nebraska or Iowa games, and having the stadium half empty for all the other games, especially later in the year when we need the support. Season tickets are guaranteed revenue, which he will need if the football team doesn't set the world on fire. Many other schools that have poor seasons still have packed houses. If you watch some games on ESPN, teams like NC State can pack their stadium, even if they are having a 4 win season. Get out and buy those season tickets!
