Everyone is banking on another newcomer to save us at PG next year. I'll have to see that to believe it.

That said, I think Dodie has a lot of potential, he's just not on tonight.

Maybe we are worse than last year If our lineupwas Jessan, Will, Curtis, Jiri, and Rahshon we might have been winning more games with McD. I just gave up on NIT tonight. We are going nowhere unless Dodie or Corey improves a lot.

I believe ISU will win 3 of their next 5-6. Might be some lingering koolaid talking, but the schedule definitely lightens up.

It was a put together class, at the last minute, and they are trying. This team is still playing hard, and they're trying. I think that we will win some more games this year, but we just don't have enough plaaaaaayyyyyyeeeerrrsssss as Johnny used to say (for those of you who don't remember Johnny was the coach here from 1981-1994, and built the foundation for this program, and also won a LOT of BIG GAMES).

Look at the bodies on our guys compared to the bodies on the other teams in the conference. Give it some time, and get these guys in the weightroom. It will get better I promise.

If fans had their way with scholarships, we would've taken Jiri's away. And we wouldn't have a Big 12 win because of that.

Corey isn't playing very well right now. While he's a junior, he is a rookie to the Big 12.

Iowa State was McIntosh's only major conference scholarship. His only other scholarship offers came from Loyola Marymount and UC Santa Barbara. I wasn't expecting much from the guy when we signed him and I don't think anybody else should either.

Seriously at this level of handling the ball and shooting ability we are worth two more wins this season. Not sure who we can beat except Colorado from here on out. We still do not have the basic skills of handling the ball down yet. Mike at one point was 3 for 12. Rahshon was 0 for 3.

We are almost halfway through the Big 12 season and are 20 games into our season, it's time to stop using that as an excuse.

WJ, a freshman...Dodie Dunson, a freshman...Mike Taylor...they are all playing their first season of Big 12 ball.

While they aren't 100% consistant and least they have shown signs of being able to play Big 12 basketball.

Do you guys really expect us to be great this year, we returned 4 players, 4 PLAYERS, yea we are playng bad, it was bound to happen, hardly any of these guys have played in the big 12. What do you expect. I will be extatic15-15, that would be a success with a new system, new players. We were going to have growing pains, we weren't going to change things in one year. McIntosh will improve, he has talent, he will improve, he won't ever be a star, but can be a solid contributor. These guys are still learning, we have talent, the wins will come, be patient and take your heads out of your hind quarters if you honestly believed we were prolly going to be able to make the NIT, yea that would have been great, but it probably wasn't a realistic expectation. Everyone on this team is new, even if they aren't new to the team, they are playing a new role on the team. Texas A &M was a much better team, and we had to figure to lose this game, yea it would have been cool to be closer, but they are more experience and huge inside, we have no bulk, NO BULK at all. Patience, McDermott is a good coach and will make this team improve, this was a tough stretch of games. We get to go home for a few now and hopefully win one or two. It is great to expect great things, but in this case it probably isn't realistic when you lose most of your scoring from the previous team. We looked good at times earlier on in the season, but some of these big 12 teams have created matchup problems, it was bound to happen, take it hard, that is fine, but realize that this was bound to happen

I agree to an extent. It's just tough to watch this team get a comeback win against Missouri, get a very solid win against Nebraska, and nearly upset KU only to lose to god-awful Colorado, and proceed to play exactly the same for the next 3 games.

WOW, wow, yea he makes stupid decisons sometime, he is new to the speed of the game, new to the Big 12, new to the cyclones, he will get better. McIntosh will play, he will become smarter, give these guys a break!
