That might be a little harsh ... but he isn't good that is for sure. I'm still trying to figure out how he was California Juco player of the year, that blows my mind away.

Good 7th-9th man on a Big 12 roster, horrible starting PG. We're asking too much of the young man and he just doesn't have it. Not his fault really.

completely agree... its too bad for us that hes our starting point guard, but not his fault

He is way to small to be a big 12 point guard, but its hard for McDermott to look else where. Taylor his turnover prone, and Dunson is more of a 2 guard. Dunson does look good enough to handle the point, why not give him a shot.

I think Diante Garrett is going to be alot more valuable then Craig Brackins next year because of the immediate help he can provide.

If Garrett can give 5/3/5 a night, I think you may be right. We just need someone who makes everyone else play better.

I'll agree that he would never be a star at the big 12 level... but I also feel we aren't utilizing him to his strengths either. He obviously had something going for him in CA... and clearly we're not using him the same way he was used in CA. I like everything GMac has done... but I think he needs to figure out how to use CMac's strengths better!

To be honest... I'm not 100% sure... but he must have dones something good to be CA's Juco POY. From watching Cap City games this summer... he's a quick guy... I'd like to see him drive down low drawing defenders and then dishing off to bigs for easy buckets...
