Not surprised to see that most of the experts picked the Colts.. I was curious what you guys thought.. I'm a big fan of the "defense wins superbowls" theory.. You have to respect Manning, but hall of fame regular season quarterbacks who choke hard in the playoffs can be risky.. I say
Bears 31
Colts 23

Bears have an awesome D. But I hope Colts win. Dallas Clark is from a small town near where I live. I'd like to see him be a Super Bowl winner.

| Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans… I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

Even though SI jinxed the Bears by putting them on the cover...I'm going to say Bears (yes, I'm a homer) by 4.
I have no idea what the score will be...both defenses can give up big points and then the next week give up almost nothing.

This is one of the first games where I'm not hardcore rooting for one team or the other. I do want the Colts to win and think they will - but I won't be upset if they don't.
Should be a fun game to watch. At least I hope it is.
