The last time I checked, some guy that goes by the name of Morgan is looking for a job... Maybe he can replace ol' Steve.

Pulse, when I logged in I was like WTF??? nothing seems to surprise me anymore in the wacky world of sports and contract buyouts etc... A good friend of mine is a diehard cowboy fan and I think the natives there (all 13 of them) are restless with McClain, he ir rather kooky if you ever watch him patrol the sidelines, quite the contrast to slick alford.

I'm kind of disappointed that the topic title got changed...

I think Alford is perfect for Iowa. Nobody likes him, and he's average enough that they'll never go anywhere.

My second favorite coach in college BB is Alford, only because he is coaching at the UofI.

I originally posted with a subject of something like "Alford Fired! Steve McClain new coach!" which apparently someone didn't think was funny, even though I wasn't serious as can be seen from the body of the 1st message in this thread "Well, not yet they haven't. Maybe next year." I'm thinking with a new AD, that Alford is living on borrowed time, which is unfortunate because I hope he stays there because he's such an easy target. I was just joking around that since their new AD is from Wyoming that he'd hire the BB coach from Wyoming. Not a strech by any means.. You heard it hear first!

Hopefully they keep Alfraud. I like it when teams I hate have worthless coaches like him. Especially when they have that typical Pukeye attitude where they think their hot S*#T on a gold platter when all they will ever be are cold turds on a paper plate............
