The one time it would be ok for Juri to shoot a 3pointer, he hesitates and gets it blocked.
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

Jiri can change games inside, he forces double teams, leaving perimeter players open. ISU ahead, 33-26 at half.

I agree, but the last few games have been against teams with some good big men that kept Jiri from getting the ball and having a good look.

Jiri's only gotten 4 ppg in the last 3 games. That's putting a lot of stress on our guards.

he has hit 6 this year of 19, Hubalek, I mean if he thinks he can hit them when he is that wide open, might as well, if he is only taking 1 or so a game, big deal! Ceaser is playing great defense on Bruce/Jerrells! He really is in the flow of the game. He isn't lagging behind!

I agree, i'm shocked by Ceaser's play so far. He's been shutdown on defense, both on Jerrells and Bruce, and has contributed on the boards and even hit a wide open three.

It'd really be nice to have a designated shutdown defense guy, like a Marcus Dove (OSU) or Dominique Kirk (a&m). Keep our offensive guys fresh for the final five minutes.

i wish we could recall the scholarship for mcintosh. We could really use his sport for a recruit.

It'll be nice to have a PG who can score next year. Baylor puts Jerrell on McIntosh on defense, 'cause he won't have to work that hard, and can get out on the fast break without worrying about his man scoring.

    Re: ISU vs Baylor

Here's an inversion: Baylor leading ISU in boards, 17-15. ISU doing better in turnovers, though 6-10.

    Re: ISU vs Baylor

I'm listening to the game online, and I just heard the announcers say "Mike Taylor with his 7th assist."

    Seriously?

    Re: ISU vs Baylor

I would definitely trade Taylor's 7 turnovers per game for 7 assists - Blaylock style

    Re: ISU vs Baylor

They're talking about Corey's aggressiveness on the offensive end now.

    Is this the twilight zone?

    *Edit*

Or is this just a team playing well together?

    Re: ISU vs Baylor

Crazy, they just said "aggresive move by Cory McIntosh will get him to the line to shoot two"
