Doesn't have the NBA physique? 6 '5 guy who is built like a truck. Can run up and down the court as fast or faster than anyone else (remember the guy was a track stud). Has a good vertical. I am not sure what doesn't look good about this guy for an NBA player. Decent shot, strong player and a tall athletic shooting guard
Well he's not a Mack Truck. Maybe a Dodge Dakota...
I know that he had the highest verticle on the team last year and that was with "Dunkin" Doug Thomas on the team. I think it is 36 or something like that which is very good. The guy can play and will get drafted
Honorable mention All-America but no way a Third teamer. He will make All Big Ten. He has disappeared in a lot of games. The reason he scores a lot of points is that his team isn't that great and he is their number one scoring threat. Haluska will probably make a roster in the NBA as he has good size, speed and is a decent shooter. He would have definitely helped our team. If it weren't for former ISU commits, Iowa wouldn't even be able to field a team at all. They are our "little brother" when it comes to hoops.
I get tired of hearing the, "he only scores a lot of points b/c he is their number one scoring threat!" Isn't the guy who scores the most points the number one scoring threat. And I would say that ISU needs taylor to be their number one scoring threat, yet he doesn't put up the number quite like haluska. give the guy his due. he is a good bball player and will get drafted end of 1st early 2nd round.

You must see something in him the NBA scouts don't. According to NBADraft.net, he's a mid-late 2nd rounder. Being from Carroll myself, I know his skills -- athletic ability, speed, shooting touch (although sparatic). To me, it just seems like he doesn't have that killer instinct. Just my 2¢...
Most "average" NBA guys seem to have at least one trait/skill that makes them unique. Some guys just have NBA size, NBA rebounding desire, NBA shot blocking ability, or NBA 3 point shooting. I don't know what AH has that would set him apart from the other good players. I don't see him as a guy that is going to be a real shooter, a penetrator, a defender, etc. I think he is a VERY good college player. However, his COMPLETE game isn't good enough to hang around the next level very long unless he develops one part of it in a substantial way.
