I found this article on recruiting analysis very interesting. It doesn't surprise me at all, because this is pretty much what I figured. Some no name guys spending very little time evaluating with no real credibility. Note I am not posting this as a slam toward anyone in particular (except the "experts"), but why I find Internet recuiting evaluations of high school students around the country as a whole absolutely ridiculous. I like hearing about recruits, but how and who determines how good they are is silly.

There is a type of "self-fulfilling prophecy" to these type of rankings. If a kid in BB starts to be recruited by Duke or if a kid in FB starts to be recruited by Florida...their "star rankings" go up because often these services have never seen or rarely seen the kid perform but if he is being recruited by Duke BB or Floriday FB...well, he must be good. The whole thing is a joke!

Good read, I've always said I don't put much into star and recruiting rankings when it comes to ISU because seems if a kid goes to a big school his star rank goes up then if a good player is interested in a school like ISU all the sudden he's not as good and star rank goes down if he signs with us.

We'ce uncovered some gems in recruiting that were not high star ranked. It's all about finding players that can develop and play well in your system.
