A couple of days ago I was looking at (the free part of) CR to see if we had any new commits and saw his name as a possibility to fill a DE spot. Well, today (the free section, again) says we landed a 3-star DE. Looking at the DE page...

There's only one uncommitted (although I'm fully aware that doesn't mean jack squat) 3-star DE left, and I find it interesting that his name popped up a few days ago. It's amazing what a little sleuthing can do.

Oh, and before you accuse me of anything, I don't have a premium membership to any board, I'm just a poor college student.

Good get, but would have preferred Alex Cook. Hopefully he pans out.

I doubt there is a 5 star. Sometimes they like to post titles like that on the confidential to see who runs with it.

I could be wrong and maybe there is a surprise, but highly doubt it.

I can't imagine what kind of recruiting job Gene could do if we were coming off a good season, yikes. Hopefully things go well in the next 24 hours.

In GC's short time here at ISU, he has put together a much better class then Mac had last year! I can't wait for the future either!

On another note Lyle will have 3 years to play and not 2 according to his rivals profile... so thats good

That's the very reason I dropped my membership...it was becoming less information and more grade school antics. I'm not paying for that.

An article on the Butler CC football webpage from yesterday confirms that Lyle is committed to ISU.

Zac Taylor was from Butler.

We also got another OL tonight. I dont want to say who, even though you can find it for free on CR, everyone can just find out tom. He is a high schooler, no juco. Im surprised how many OL hes taken this year. BUt it isa weak spot, and a very important piece to winning football games.
