Does he think he's Lil Wayne? haha. He sounds pretty cocky and I hope he realizes that there is a team involved. Where did you see this quote?
“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.” -
Re: More from JJ Bass
Is he a second year JUCO or just a first??

Re: More from JJ Bass
On his facebook profile he says his goal is to win a national championship and win the heisman trophy. He's not joking when he says this either. Hopefully he realizes that there is a team, and that Jason Scales may end up being better than him anyway. Whatever though, I like the enthusiasm.

Re: More from JJ Bass
I love it. If he can do it, more power to him
-
Re: More from JJ Bass
If Jason Scales is better than him, no offense to him, but we'll be in trouble.

Re: More from JJ Bass
Jason Showed som light this year, he never really got a chance to show us a full game... but i think JJ Bass is going to be the real deal for us,,, he is a burner! and a very hard worker

Re: More from JJ Bass
and if troy davis can do it, why cant he? if Troy Davis would rush back to back 2000 yard seasons in this day and age,, would he actually win? Probably not, but the more performances we have like that, the better chances we have of finally putting someone up there

Probably not, but the more performances we have like that, the better chances we have of finally putting someone up there Troy Davis was able to rush for 2000 yards in back to back seasons because our team allowed other teams to score so fast, he got an absolutely absurd number of carries. Did you know that we actually hold the NCAA record for fewest punt returns per game over an entire season? In 1996, we returned all of FIVE punts That should tell you something about how easy we were to score on. Yes, Troy Davis was an excellent back, but don't act like he didn't have help....from our terrible defense.

And thank you Stumpy for this: -

about the way it is now huh ;)

Re: More from JJ Bass
clones33, what kind of runner is JJ? His videos showed as an almost exclusively outside runner. Can he mix it up between the tackles? Hopefully he can join the elite company of pre-Hicks ISU running backs.

Re: More from JJ Bass
I like it... that's the confidience we need. You don't win thinking, "hey, if we all work together and nobody makes a mistake... we could win today!" This guy seems like he expects to win... and won't settle for less.
"DOMINATE the Big12 conference helping my team get to the next level winning a national championship"
still thinks in terms of the team according to above quote. This guy sounds like he isn't going to take what defenses give him... he's going to take what he wants! Attitude!
We had a thread about swagger earlier... now this guy and his "we're gonna own the big 12 ATTITUDE". This is what we need. Like somebody else said earlier... no more, "we COULD win this game because we have the talent." Its, "hell yeah we gonna win... come watch us or u be missin out!" <-- sorry for the text type slang C.John!
This is my sarcasm pirate. There are many like it but this one is mine. -
Re: More from JJ Bass
Maxpower, the only video we have seen is JJs freshman JUCO video, in that video he is a very elusive runner in terms of hitting the hole fast. What JJ seems to do is hit the hole with tremendous speed and then some way or another gets it to the outside, which is what we need in a runningback. JJ is not a bruising 3rd down back, but he does fight for extra yardage, If you have seen any recent footage of him you can tell that he has made vast improvements in his size and ability to take it up the middle. I think with our coaching staff, we will make JJ Bass into an outstanding running back.
