people still watch the NBA??
Ok that is all I had to say nothing of value to add
Hahahaha so true.....How about they show the Wes Johnson dunk over Bruce.....now that was a sick dunk....
NBA sucks. Plain and simple. As if this isn't another sign that NBA players don't play for pride or for the love of the game. Just a bunch of punk ***** wannabe tough guys who think that they are God's gift to man.
I live in Baton Rouge and am an LSU supporter. I have been around Tyrus and he always struck me as a quality kid.
His story is pretty inspirational. He never really played much in HS until his senior year. He grew late (even while at LSU). He didn't get much interest in recruiting except from North Texas. The only reason he ended up at LSU is that they lost another kid during recruiting and were scrambling late in the process to fill a slot. He didn't start last season as a starter and was not really expected to be an impact player but really busted his tail and made the most of his chances. And by season's end everyone in the country knew his name. Bottom line is that the kid is a hard worker and is not one of these spoiled prima donna athletes that have had people kissing their ***** since 6th grade.
He has really been blasted over this thing. It's too bad because he is giving his winnings to his HS (something that he was going to do anyway...not just a PR move after all this blew up in his face). I think he will measure his words a little more carefully in the future...or just keep his mouth shut (as most of these guys do) and just spew out the regular cliche's.
I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.
