Looks like Carlisle needs to invoke a curfew on the Pacers. :no6xn:
more then likely its just anoher guy tryin to get money
I wouldn't shake this off as another "someone just out to get money story." This is repeat behavior now after Tinsley was also around when Stephen Jackson had his gun shooting incident not long ago. I was hoping that maybe he was just hanging with the wrong guy when the Jackson thing happened but this is twice now he's made the news in the same season.
I hope this is not true but you have to wonder now...
Indianapolis - Metro police are investigating a bar fight involving two members of the Indiana Pacers at a west side nightclub. According to police reports, Jamaal Tinsley and Marquis Daniels allegedly punched a manager of the Eight Second Saloon early Tuesday morning. Police say Pacers guard Keith McLeod was inside the Tremors nightclub but was not involved.
Police say the fight started between a manager and an individual suspected of stealing coats from a coat check area. According to police reports, Tinsley and Daniels punched the manager and Daniels threatened to kill him.
The bar manager appears to have suffered a broken jaw and a severed ear lobe, according to police reports. Police say Tinsley may have suffered a cut to the forehead. A cousin of Pacers guard Keith McLeod lost a tooth.
Six off-duty police officers were working in security in the parking lot at the time of the fight. By the time they got inside the bar, Tinsley and Daniels were gone.
No charges have been filed and no players were arrested. Detectives are working the case.
Indiana Pacers CEO and President Donnie Walsh issued the following statement: "We are aware of reports of an incident Monday night after the Golden State game allegedly involving members of the Indiana Pacers. At this time, the incident is under police investigation and until the investigation is completed, we have no further comment."
The Pacers have a home game tonight against Seattle. The team were scheduled to hold a shoot-around at Conseco Fieldhouse at 10:45.
Unbelievable, he's been tearing it up lately. If he gets suspended or in trouble from this, that'll hurt the Pacers, because they don't have much depth at guard, just Darrell Armstrong.
According to the FoxSports Report on KXNO, it was Tinsley who threatened to kill the manager.
What the hell is wrong with these people? These 5 star yutzes have the world in the palm of their hands. They have everything going for them, doing something (I presume) they love and that any of us would give anything to be able to do. And they can't keep from going out - during the season I might add - and keep from getting in to fights, robbery, situations where they feel the need to jump up on top of a car and squeeze off a few rounds? And let's not pretend that Jamaal and crew were there during happy hour having an order of wings and a pitcher of pepsi. A little too much trouble is following these guys around.
Idiots.
Great, Second story on ESPN.com
"I'm upset that I could be involved in something like this. I had nothing to do with it," Tinsley told the newspaper.
Too funny
Daniels is a game time decision because of an injured knee. But apparantly it's not enough to keep him off the bar scene at 2:15 in the morning? :rolleyes5cz:
Berryman and Pierce denied all the things they did as well but that doesn't make them innocent either.
I'm not saying JT is a thug but anyone who thinks that he had nothing to do with it and it's just someone trying to get money needs to put down the Cyclone kool-aid and take over the cardinal and gold glasses and see that JT being involved in 2 separate incidents involving violence is not a good thing for him. I don't care if he didn't punch the guy himself, either he or his teammate did just like his then teammate Stephen Jackson fired a gun into the air that night he was with him. That's not a good crowd for him to be hanging out with.

Not too bright.
still hard to tell what happened from that.. I want to wait for more to come out before judging him too much on this, but its definitely not looking good
This really gets old. The only good news is they didn't bring up ISU in the article.:no6xn:

This is probably good for a 10 game suspension. If true, Tinsley has really done a stupid and costly thing.
