Actually, the offensive coordinator is on 1460 KXNO out of DM, 1430 KASI is out of Ames, so it's quite possible Chizik could be on 1430 right now...

I've got Chizik on the radio right now, he went over the recruits who signed their LOIs today.

Seems like his favorite catchphrase for today was "at the 11th hour". Wonder if we'll win games next year "at the 11th hour"? ;)

Chizik has talked about the 11th hour more than any coach in the country this season. He has mentioned it in 5 of the past 6 statements. If you disagree, then you must be smoking some bad weed.

He knows how desparate his fanbase is for genuine success. We no longer want to be told that we are getting it done, we actually want to see it on the field.

That is why he is trying to lower any hype about this class. He only had a short time to recruit, and he doesn't want people to think that this is the best that he is going to do. Either that, or he really isn't impressed by the guys that he signed, they were the best that was left over. Theory number three means he is trying to let us know that his staff did really well considering how long they had to recruit, and watch out when they get some time to go get their guys. I don't know which it is.
