# of Points for Durant

Just wondering what how many points everyone thought Durant will be scoring against us considering McDermott has already said we have no one that can match up with him, not that any other team does either.

My Guess: 43

That's a bit high, considering McDermott will probably try to slow the game tempo as much as possible.

We'll throw Wes and Rahshon and Taylor at him. I say we "hold him" to 29. I would say it's not gonna be fun, but I don't think it's possible to not enjoy watching this kid

I'm scared by some of your predictions. Will he outscore our entire team?? :(

I'm not sure who will guard him. I'd try Clark first even though he's giving up some height. Jessan Gray might be able to control him with his length for short periods. Who knows, maybe if Durant is off we have a hint of a chance.

I think we'll be as good defensively on Durant as any other team. I think he'll be Wesley's assignment, mainly, and I think he'll hold up fairly well against him. They are somewhat similar players. As mentioned above, the pace we will hope to play at hurts his scoring totals too.

Using our best offensive player may not be the thing to do. I'm sure Clark will get a shot at holding him under 30. Unfortunately Durant hasn't played down to his competition. ISU 55 Durant 37

Walters interviewd Clark last night on Ch. 5, and from the sounds of the interview, Clark will guard him! If Clark can do what he did to Rush, I say Durant scores under 20, My guess is 19 points!
