I dont think UNI is done. It takes time for a new coach to work things out. I have a feeling Ben will turn things around. I will never dish on UNI even if they beat us. They dont strike me like Iowa does.

The point being that, routinely, someone who shouldn't be torching us always seems to be. As Mac's players start filtering in, hopefully we'll be seeing less of that.

UNI's slide is very disappointing for me personally since UNI and ISU are basically 1 and 1A for me (I'm from Ames, grew up going to games at Hilton, went to school at UNI).

I don't think Jacobson is necessarily a bad coach. UNI's perimeter shooting sounds like it has gone ice cold recently and teams are really doubling down on Coleman and Stout. The Register article said those two combined for only 13 points last night. Normally that is the scoring average for both of them. Poor shooting will overshadow everything, even good coaching.

I have seen a few games this year, and the biggest difference that I see in this team as opposed to the teams that Greg coached, is that there are periods of time where they fall asleep, and don't play as hard as they need to. That seems to happen once or twice in a game, and they get themselves in a hole, and they are too limited offensively to come back.

I like Jake, and I think that he will continue to recruit well. I think that they will be fine in the future, but this year is really frustrating to watch.
