Well you can say that they lack talent,that they are not good shooters,that they lack muscle, but this team does not quit, got to say they play all 40 minutes, and play hard...

I agreee. However I think they have talent. Mistake prone though. I see ESPN tooted the horn of Texas. What a joke. No compliments to ISU whatsoever. I say we did alright considering our play off and on this season and it was an away game.

I disagree bostinelosd. Yesterday I did hear the color guy say that although we were getting our a$$ kicked at the time, that he was seeing us do good things on the floor. May have been faint praise, but praise nonetheless.

I agree this team doesn't quit, but no way they play 40 minutes of basketball...usually they play the first 30 to 35, however the texas game they only played the last 20 mins after not showing up in the 1st.

They are a team with not much in the way of identity, they are a terrible shooting team overall and they turn it over way too much, but they can come up with timely 3's.

I watched the game on FSN and i think they spent 15% of the time complimenting ISU, 15% of the time complimenting the texas team, and 70% of the time complimenting Kevin Durant.

How about Chris Caesar guarding Kevin Durant, he was doing such a great job, and I was sad to see while he was still in there and it was working, McD still switched to a zone and Texas scored easily on it....

Playing hard for 40 minutes is all that fans can ask for. I didn't see that against Missouri last Tuesday and it was a little disheartening, but they showed yesterday that it was the exception, not the rule. Hopefully we have a couple more wins up our sleeve, and maybe even pull an upset in the tourney.

They have talent, but we need a SOLID PG to have the talent be maximized at the other positions. Taylor is talented, but not as a PG.

as this team progresses, I think the players will start to take on roles- including a leader, which is IMO our biggest need. With a patchwork team, I think this is all we can expect.

I think you're right. I don't really get mad at McIntosh because I know he's working hard, but I don't know how many minutes he'll see next year if Garrett is better as a true freshman. I know that McDermott is also going after another JUCO PG pretty hard for next year trying to convince him to walk on because they are out of scholarships.
