GoCyclones.com labled winning the match against Missouri as winning the Big 12 Conference regular-season championship. Is there such a thing or does the conference only recognize the tournament champion?
Part two - does beating every team in a dual mean we will win the tournament?
Technically, no. The Conference Tournament winner is deemed the Conference Champion. But.... the last time we swept the Big 5, we won the Nationals.
Your part two. It can be an indicator of good things to come, but a lot of the matches our guys won in the duals were upsets. We can only hope for good fortunes again at conference.
