Just saw this about two Illinois BB players in a car crash:

First the Theo Davis/Gonzaga stuff, then Marlon Lucky, now this! Let's keep all of our student-athletes wrapped in bubble wrap and indoors.

Jamar Smith was treated and released. Freshman Brian Carlwell is improving but still in serious condition.

Nice Lexus. Why don't we see more college students in the general population (outside major D1 Athletics) driving nice cars like that?

I could never figure out how LE with all his booze parties and driving in winter back and forth to meet the team and yet he did not hae a car accident. He was real good with multitasking.

Thery would if they were 6-11 and friends of Illini boosters. Great cars have more protective air bags for safety purposes.

True story. 16 years old filling up my car at the Car Go Mart in Panora, Iowa and as I go in to pay for my gas, Larry Eustachy has a 40 of Bud Light propped on the counter. Apparently he was on his way from an in home visit with Adam Haluska to a Cyclone Dinner Luncheon in Des Moines. Now I'm not one to say I told you so, but I knew that guy was going to get canned for something stupid and sure enough he does his best Hugh Heffner impersonation mackin on girls that are young enough to be his grand kids.

Haha, thats what I remembered thinking when he got caught drinking Naddy. The beer must have belonged to those poor college students and he crashed the party and drank their beer.
