<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(kberyldial @ 06-29-06 2:33 pm) Quoted post</div><div class='quotemain'> Everyone - I'm not ragging on Jamaal. All I'm saying is that unless he gives 110% on the defensive side of the ball then he will be pigeon-holed because he does not have a great NBA offensive game. The guy is a terrific point guard. There are alot of terrific point guards. Ask Stinson. Whoever mentioned it is right, Carlisle would be hard to play for but isn't that because he demands effort and team play? Jamaal is a great story and my memories of him in a Cyclone uniform might not ever be topped. However, he disappears sometime in games. His injuries have also opened the door for a few other players to make their case at getting minutes and they stepped up. Fight back Jamaal - look like you want to be there. [/b][/quote]
We see your point, its just not a very good one. Sure he'd be better if he gave 110% on defense, but who wouldn't be. The NBA isn't about defense. He also isn't Allen Iverson, but then again not many PGs put up a lot of points like Iverson does because its not their primary responsibility. I don't see what is wrong with being "pigeon-holed" as a starting NBA point guard and getting paid for it. "Ask Stinson" what does that mean? Nobody ever said Stinson was a great point guard, they aren't even in the same league (literally and figuratively). There are lots of terrfic point guards, and Tinsley is one of them as you said. You seem to want him to be an all-star like Iverson, which if he did everything like you said, he would be. But who cares if he's an all-star or just leading an NBA team..
Maybe when they were talking Ricky for Jamaal, they were talking Ricky vs Jamaal plus cash and/or draft choices. However, I do not see Ricky Davis as a good fit for the "you must do it this way" Indiana Pacers coached by the demanding Rick Carlisle. Really, is Ricky going to follow orders or just play his game? Franky, I hope Jamall is traded to the Hornets or Warriors or some team that will open up their style of basketball. Right now it is toss the ball into Jemaine ONeal and let him shoot. And maybe Ricky has a big, fat contract that his team wants to get rid of. Speaking of ex Hawks like Reggae, how is Nutman from Seattle doing? Is he safe next year in Seattle?
CFH HMagic bball season.
Let my fred's Four Horsemen ride.
whoever talking about 110% effort doesnt watch the NBA, no 1 gives 60% half the time(Except for maybe D.Wade),tinsley needs to be traded because indiana is going nowhere fast as long as rick carlisle is the coach.

"Lets play Two"-Ernie Banks
a person that gives it 100% is Bobby Knight

No way this will happen. Ricky Davis is a much better player, it wouldn't be an even-up trade. Plus, the T-Wolves drafted for the PG position when they got Foye. This give the T-Wolves three PGs ( Foye, Hudson, Jaric ), not including Marcus Banks, an unsigned free agent.
It is twice as easy to find a "Ricky Davis" than a "Jamaal Tinsley". Tinsley is worth much more in the NBA
