Foundation built by Snyder beginning to crumble
Ouch http://www.wildcatdaily.com/view/art...02-16-43987-16
In less than 15 months, that granite foundation is crumbling into fine sand. By ones and twos, members of Ron Prince's first football staff, and support program, are making a mass exodus.
But one wonders how the upset win over Texas distorted the true performance of the year, just as how the last two blow out losses to Kansas and Rutgers mangled what truly was accomplished.
This is nothing against the latest cast of replacements, but the second try of "star power" coaches has backgrounds from such locales as Richmond, Connecticut, Western Connecticut, Cornell, Central Connecticut State, Holy Cross, Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Temple, Salisbury State, Kentucky State, Eastern Kentucky, Appalachian State, and Maynard Evans High School (Orlando, Fla.).

I still think they'll be a good team next year and will compete for a top 3 spot in the Big 12 north over the next few. It'd be nice to say that about ISU.

I really don't get why folks go out of their way to throw mud at Ron Prince.
He's made some moves that ruffled feathers and didn't seem right at the time. Yet that team, that no one expected anything of - went bowling.

Being the huge dork I am, I laughed really hard when I saw the title of this thread. There is a foundation and Civil Engineering named Snyder and Associates from ankeny. I thought for a second this was referring to one of their projects! haha
Remember that stressed spelled backwards is desserts!

The person here is a Nebraska fan. They don't have an instate rivalry like we do. It use to be Colorado, but now is K-State. That is why they are throwing mud.
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone. -
Re: Foundation built by Snyder beginning to crumble
The thing about throwing mud is that some always ends up on your own hands.
Yeah well, ya know, that's just, like uh, your opinion, man. -
Re: Foundation built by Snyder beginning to crumble
who says i'm throwing mud? This was an op-ed piece in the Manhattan, KS newspaper.
Edit: After the mass player defections at KSU last summer, yes I know player defections are common after a coaching change, but for 3 or 4 QB's to up and leave and for 4 assistants to leave after the 1st year, one returning to his previous job, reaks of trouble brewing.

Re: Foundation built by Snyder beginning to crumble
Yeah, but we bagged on the Clown Prince in the off-season last year and look where that got us?
I think we're all just hopeful that K-State will return to its dreadful roots of the pre-Snyder era.

So what that Prince has had defections. Perhaps those guys just couldn't cut it in his system. So far he's done well with his on-field productions.
Seems the obsession with Prince and what he's doing at K-State aught to cool a bit being he's not failing miserably as many thought he would last summer.

Re: Foundation built by Snyder beginning to crumble
Garn is right - Ron Prince fires people because they were low tech like Bill Snyde and the article was posted in manhattan. Now he hires high schools coaches to come in. Give me a break, he has alienated more people in a short time than most coaches do.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
